The Footstock Leadeboard: Gameweek 18

Gameweek 18 is complete and our leaderboard is starting to take shape.

With a reduced fixture schedule, we saw some quirky results. 14 users managed to come tied 7th in the Wed/Thu Gold contest with their picks of a heavy Man City selection and the classic Kane/Son combo.

Analysis

fsmonkey had the standout week, with 7 top tens, including a joint first place and two more top-five placings, picking up 58 points in total to shoot into second place on our leaderboard. fsmonkey came third in the last edition of the leaderboard and already looks to be a strong contender again.

girt dastardly (formerly known as dennis girtkamp and girtmas wonderland) had an excellent week, picking up a first and a third place as well as one more top-ten finish to fly up to sixth on the leaderboard.

A name to look out for in the future is the_bunk, who has had a series of good results in the last couple of months at the Bronze and Freeroll levels. It was no different this week, as he took down the Tuesday Bronze and fourth in the Kammy Freeroll. the_bunk goes into tied 7th on the leaderboard.

The Leaderboard

There is a very quick turnaround into GW19, which involves a double-game contest for the first time this season. It will be fascinating to see the tactics in play and who comes out on top.
