100k Freeroll Recap: Gameweek 2

The Footstock 100k Freeroll continued in the same vein as Gameweek 1, with bucketloads of goals! Last week’s Mo Salah hat-trick was matched by Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and then even eclipsed by a four-goal haul from Heung-Min Son. The result? Some seriously impressive gameweek scores!

Gameweek 2 Leaderboard 🏆

Gameweek 2 Team of the Week ⚽

For the second week in a row, the winning 11 is a winning 10! ricky17 can consider himself somewhat unlucky, as only an injury in the warmup denied him points from Kieran Tierney. Nevertheless, everything else went to plan to bag him £250 and a Footstock FC shirt. From braces scored by Mane and Maupay to the week’s ultimate combo – four-goal Son and quadruple assister (with a goal for good measure) Harry Kane – Ricky’s team had it all. The gameweek total of 415.93 points may even be a contender for the highest of the season, which would bring him a tasty £5,000 prize!

Kammy Watch 👀

How is Footstock ambassador Chris Kamara getting on?
It’s probably too early to judge Kammy’s effort, given that he only had six starters in gameweek 1. That figure increased to nine this week, with only Cancelo and Ziyech yet to appear for Chris’s 11. As it stands he is outside the prizes in 241st place – but there’s a long season ahead!

There are more gameweek prizes up for grabs this weekend, and of course throughout the whole season. And don’t forget, the winner of the top prize of £25,000 will be based on a team’s top 6 gameweeks – so you can enter at any point up to gameweek 32 and still be in with a chance of a first-place finish in the Footstock 100K Freeroll!
